Comparison of direct buried laying of thermal insulation pipes and trench laying

Trench laying
Lay the pipeline in the trench to protect the pipeline from external force and water, and protect the insulation structure of the pipeline so that the pipeline can expand and contract freely. The trench floor of the pipeline adopts a reinforced concrete structure, and the trench wall adopts a brick structure. The trenches of the heating pipes can be divided into passable, semi-passable, and impassable trenches according to the size of the function and structure.

Directly buried
Directly buried laying is to bury the pipeline directly in the soil, and the outside of the pipeline insulation structure is in direct contact with the soil. In the heating network, the direct burial installation is a structure that integrates the heating pipe, the insulation layer, and the outer protective layer into an integrated structure.

Compared with trench laying, the direct buried laying of prefabricated insulation pipes has the following characteristics:
(1) There is no need to construct trenches, and the quantity and the number of civil works are reduced. The pipeline can be prefabricated, the workload of on-site installation is reduced, the construction progress is fast, and the investment cost of the heating pipe network can be saved.
(2) The prefabricated insulation pipe has good tightness, water is not easy to penetrate between the insulation material and the steel pipe, and the pipe is not easy to corrode.
(3) The prefabricated heat preservation pipe has a simple structure and adopts factory prefabrication to ensure the quality of the project.
(4) Prefabricated thermal insulation pipelines can shorten the construction period, improve efficiency, and are conducive to production standardization and environmental protection. It is an inevitable trend for the future development of the heating industry.
