Seamless Steel Tube Forming

Seamless steel tube is made by cold drawing and hot rolling, etc. to shape.

Two steel pipe process overview:

1, Cold drawn (rolling) seamless steel tube: round tube → heating → perforation → start → annealing → pickling → oil (copper) → multi-pass cold drawn (cold) → billet → heat treatment → correction Straight → water pressure test (inspection) → mark → storage.

2, hot-rolled (extruded seamless steel tube): round tube → heating → perforation → roll roll, rolling or extrusion → off tube → sizing (or reducing diameter) → cooling → billet → straightening → Water pressure test (or flaw detection) → mark → storage.
