The standard for storage of anti-corrosion steel pipes
1. The appearance of the anti-corrosion steel pipe in and out of the warehouse needs to be inspected as follows:
① Check one by one to ensure that the surface of the polyethylene layer is flat and smooth, and there are no dark bubbles, pits, wrinkles, cracks, and the overall color needs to be uniform. Do not have excessive corrosion on the surface of the pipe.
② The bending degree of the steel pipe should be less than 0.2% of the length of the steel pipe, and the ovality should be less than 0.2% of the outer diameter of the steel pipe. The surface of the entire pipe has local concavities and convexities <2mm.
2. The transportation of anti-corrosion steel pipes needs to pay attention to the following points:
① Loading and unloading: Spreaders that do not damage the nozzle should be used, and the anti-corrosion layer should not be damaged. All construction machinery and equipment must comply with regulations during the loading and unloading process. Before loading, the anti-corrosion grade, material, and wall thickness of the pipe should be checked in advance, and mixed installation is not suitable.
②Transportation: A thrust baffle should be set between the trailer and the cab. When transporting the anti-corrosion pipe, it is necessary to tie it firmly and take protective measures to the anti-corrosion layer in time. Rubber plates or some soft materials should be set up between the anti-corrosion pipe and the frame or column, and between the anti-corrosion pipes.
3. What are the storage standards:
① The pipes, fittings, and valves should be properly kept by the instructions and should be checked during storage to avoid corrosion, deformation, and aging.
②There are also materials such as glass cloth, heat-wrapped tape, and heat-shrinkable sleeves that need to be stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse.
③Materials such as pipes, pipe fittings, and valves can be classified and stored in the open air. Of course, the selected storage site needs to be flat and free of stones, and there should be no water on the ground. The slope is guaranteed to be 1% to 2%, with a drainage ditch.
④ The anti-corrosion pipes in the warehouse need to be stacked in layers, and their height needs to ensure that the pipes do not lose their stable shape. Stack them separately according to different specifications and materials. Put soft cushions between each layer of anti-corrosion pipes, and place two rows of sleepers under the lower pipes. The distance between the piled pipes and the ground should be more than 50mm.
⑤If it is on-site construction, some storage requirements for pipes: two support pads should be used at the bottom, the distance between them is about 4m-8m, and the anti-corrosion pipe should not be less than 100mm from the ground.
