ASTM A53 Gr.B seamless steel pipe is made from high-quality carbon structural steel and formed through hot-rolled piercing and cold-drawing or hot-rolled sizing processes. The pipe boasts a uniform microstructure and fine-grained structure, a tensile strength of 415-550 MPa, and a yield strength of ≥240 MPa. It is widely used in fluid transportation projects in the oil, gas, water, and HVAC sectors, withstanding medium- and high-pressure conditions and providing stable and reliable performance.
To meet the requirements of efficient on-site welding, the steel pipes are finished with a standard 30-35 degree chamfer on both ends. This chamfer is precisely processed using CNC machine tools, with an angle tolerance of ±1° and a groove surface roughness of ≤6.3μm. This ensures a uniform weld pool during welding, effectively reducing the risk of defects such as cracks and pores, and improving welding quality and efficiency.
As a further detail, each seamless steel pipe is equipped with high-strength plastic caps at both ends. The pipe cap is made of impact-resistant material and fits snugly around the pipe opening, effectively preventing dust and moisture from entering the steel pipe during transportation and storage, preventing rust, and maintaining pipe cleanliness.
The steel pipe body can be customized with printed markings, including specifications (e.g., outer diameter x wall thickness), implementation standard (ASTM A53 Gr.B), production batch number, project name, and more. The markings are printed with weather-resistant ink, ensuring clear, long-lasting printing and facilitating on-site construction management and quality traceability.
