The methods for determining the product quality of alloy steel pipes are as follows:
1. Test the key components, such as Cr and C, in the alloy steel pipe.
2. Test the compressive strength of the hardened surface layer of the alloy steel pipe.
3. Check the surface flatness of the alloy steel pipe and whether the welded joints are uneven, ensuring that the thickness of the hardened surface layer of all alloy steel pipes is uniform to prevent damage during repairs.
4. Observe the hardness of the surface layer of the alloy steel pipe. The higher the hardness, the better the wear resistance and compressive strength.
5. Conduct a repeated bending test on the alloy steel pipe. Clamp one end of the sample and repeatedly bend it in the opposite direction on a cylindrical surface of a specified radius to test the repeated bending resistance of the alloy steel pipe and reveal its defects.
6. Hammer or forge a sample of the specified alloy steel pipe size. This test examines the alloy steel pipe's ability to withstand upsetting plastic deformation at room temperature or high temperature and reveals defects in the alloy steel pipe.
7. Upsetting tests of alloy steel pipes conducted at room temperature are called room temperature upsetting tests, also known as cold upsetting tests. Upsetting tests conducted in a hot state are called hot upsetting tests.
8. The flanging test of alloy steel pipes involves pressing a center of a specified shape into one end of the alloy steel pipe, uniformly flanging the pipe wall to a specified size, and testing the pipe wall's ability to withstand plastic deformation.
9. The hydrostatic test of alloy steel pipes involves filling the alloy steel pipe with water or a specified liquid and subjecting it to a specified pressure for a period of time to test the quality and strength of the alloy steel pipe and to reveal its defects.
