1. Avoid any unwelded joints within 50 meters of the oil casing's insulating joint installation location.
2. After the oil casing's insulating joint is connected to the pipeline, the pipeline must not be lifted within 5 meters of the joint. Pressure testing must be conducted together with the pipeline.
3. After the oil casing's insulating joint is connected to the pipeline, it should be repaired as required. During corrosion protection work, the surface temperature of the insulating joint must not exceed 120℃.
4. When installing the oil casing's insulating joint, it should be installed on a straight pipe section at least 20 meters away from bends, with supports installed at both ends. For buried installations, avoid installation in areas with year-round water accumulation.
5. The center-to-center distance of the joint should be aligned with the center-to-center distance of the pipeline. The difference between the two center-to-center distances during installation should not exceed 0.2mm.
6. When the displacement of the oil casing is greater than or equal to the compensation amount of the insulating joint of the oil casing, the number of joints should be increased to accommodate the displacement. It is strictly prohibited to subject the insulating joint to extreme bending displacement or deviation in order to adjust for pipeline deviations, and it is even more forbidden to exceed the limits (expansion, displacement, deflection, etc.).
7. When the insulating joint of the oil casing is located at a high altitude or suspended, the pipeline should be fixed to a hanger, bracket, or anchor. The insulating joint must not bear the weight of the pipeline itself or axial force; otherwise, the joint should be equipped with an anti-pull-out device (whose bearing capacity must be greater than the axial force of the pipeline).
