The manufacturing process of seamless steel pipes is divided into hot rolling and cold drawing, and the cold drawing process is divided into two types of steel pipes: special-shaped steel pipes and round steel pipes. Therefore, the same is true for high-pressure seamless steel pipes.
1) Steps of the hot rolling process of high-pressure seamless steel pipes: In the overall process of hot rolling, the round tube billet is heated to a certain temperature and then pierced. The next step is a three-roller oblique rolling, continuous rolling, or extrusion process, followed by tube removal, sizing, and then cooling to form a billet tube, straightening, and finally after a water pressure test, it can be marked and put into storage.
2) Steps of cold drawing process of high-pressure seamless steel pipes: the round tube billet is heated to a temperature that can be pierced, and then pierced. After that, the steps of heading, annealing, pickling, and copper plating are performed. The next step is cooling. It needs to be cooled multiple times. The billet tube formed after cooling must also be heat-treated and straightened. It can also be marked and put into storage after a water pressure test.
