The connection method specifications of galvanized steel pipes depend on the type of connection method. Generally, there are several types, such as flange connection, clamp groove connection, and welding. In the actual connection of galvanized steel pipes, welding is the most commonly used connection form. Although welding takes a long time, the quality is the best among the three methods; the clamp groove connection is more convenient. After the two steel pipes have been processed, the grooves can be matched and matched, and then the clamp is used. Reinforce the hooking points; the flange connection is to fix two steel pipes on a flange plate respectively, and then fix the two flanges, and the two steel pipes are passively connected.

The following are the specific prevention phenomena and measures that should be taken according to the specifications of galvanized steel pipe connection methods.
In case of improper connection:
1. Leakage, water leakage, and moisture return occur at the pipe mouth;
2. No re-galvanizing is performed on the welding joint between galvanized pipe and flange

Preventive measures to deal with improper connections:
1. When selecting pipes, you should choose high-quality ones; the connection method is ultimately determined based on the design specification requirements and the size of the pipe fittings. Construction should be carried out strictly and by standard procedures and processes for various connection methods.
2. When the DN is not greater than 100 mm, galvanized steel pipes must be connected using threaded connections.
3. Before connecting the galvanized pipe, first tighten the galvanized pipe by hand to check its tightness, leaving enough margin to tighten the pipe fittings.
4. Wind the filler in a clockwise direction, and the winding should be even.
5. When DN is greater than 100 mm, galvanized steel pipes can be connected with welding flanges.
6. After welding the flange, secondary galvanizing is required. If you are not particularly sure about the blanking dimensions of the relevant parts, you can pre-assemble them first, and then perform secondary galvanizing if there are no problems.
7. When connecting two flanges, they should be parallel. Do not forcefully connect non-parallel flanges.
8. The gasket should be placed between the two connected flanges. Its material and thickness should meet the specifications of design and construction. The gasket should be made into a handle shape before installation. It should not be protruding. into the inside of the flange. In addition, the edge should be as close to the bolt hole as possible. Do not install two gaskets or the gaskets are installed offset.
9. For flange installation connection bolts, their length and diameter must meet the standards. In terms of direction, the installation must be consistent, which means the nuts must be on the same side.
10. After the galvanized pipe is installed, a hydraulic pressure test must be carried out, mainly to check whether there will be leakage at each connection. If this situation does occur, it should be marked and tested again after the repair is completed until the test results are fully qualified.
